Terms of Service

Welcome to sub.games. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the sub.games platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by StoryverseCo Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@sub.games of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Description of Service

sub.games is a platform where users (“Subscribers”) can subscribe to game creators (“Creators”) to access content and support their work. All subscription payments are made to sub.games. sub.games shares a portion of subscription revenue with Creators pursuant to separate agreements between sub.games and each Creator.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4.1. Subscriptions. When you subscribe to a Creator, you are purchasing a subscription from sub.games, not from the Creator directly. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled.

4.2. Pricing. Subscription prices are displayed on the Service prior to purchase. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect active billing periods. You will be notified of price changes before your next renewal.

4.3. Payment. All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for all subscription fees on a recurring basis.

4.4. Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes associated with your subscription, except where we are required to collect them.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods. No partial-period refunds are provided upon cancellation.

6. Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at billing@sub.games within 14 days of the charge. We will review your request and, at our sole discretion, may issue a refund or credit.

7. Creator Content

7.1. Creator Responsibility. Creators are solely responsible for the content they make available through the Service. We do not pre-screen, endorse, or guarantee any Creator content.

7.2. No Guarantees. We do not guarantee that any Creator will continue to produce content, maintain a certain frequency of content, or remain on the platform. Subscriptions provide access to content as it is made available.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

  • Attempt to circumvent any subscription, payment, or access controls.

  • Distribute, reproduce, or share Creator content outside the platform without authorization.

  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or Creators.

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service without our written consent.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1. Our IP. The Service, including its design, code, branding, and all related intellectual property, is owned by StoryverseCo Inc. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9.2. Creator IP. Creators retain ownership of the content they upload to the Service. By subscribing, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to view and access such content through the platform only.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORYVERSECO INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StoryverseCo Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the Service. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 11, 12, 13, and 16) will survive.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

17. Miscellaneous

17.1. Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and StoryverseCo Inc. regarding the Service.

17.2. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17.3. Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

17.4. Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
